I made this drawing sometime earlier this fall (2012). Perhaps even in the summer time...? I can't remember. I didn't get to scanning it until now. It doesn't matter. There are a couple others that match the feeling - this cloud-mouth thing I've been fixated on - up in my Society 6 shop.
(wow. dryer text has never been blogged until now. Get ready for more.)
It's watercolor and pencil with some watersoluble graphite in there too. Measures about 11 x 14 - I think. I did a little color shift using Photoshop and realized this is more appealing to me than the original (mustardy and lavender - though still nice, admittedly).
She's dreamy and magical. I love hands and faces and if you're familiar with Egon Schiele you'll possibly find some influences from him. Oh and the lovely Mr. Alphonse Mucha, too.
Kisses,
Mary
P.S. now taking donations for a larger scanner. :)
