BIO (in a nutshell)
Mary Pattavina is the one woman show operating a small start up called Pretty Good Things through which she sells hats, fascinators and other hair do-dads. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003 from UNL, Mary engaged in a brief (but informative) stint in the hospitality and insurance industries. It was during this time she realized her error in ignoring her creative voice and decided to return to UNL in pursuit of her Masters of Arts degree in apparel design and a minor in business. She currently works as a graduate teaching assistant, frenzied student, and part time business owner. Mary anticipates May 2009 with a positive vision for Pretty Good Things and a hope that she might finally catch her breath with degree in hand.
